Some people call after a strange noise, a “presence,” or a relative who is sure the house is occupied by something that is not a person. Those calls are common enough to deserve a straight answer. What we will look at instead
Most “ghost” files have a human explanation worth checking, or they have no investigative file at all.
- A person using the property: a squat, a relative with a key, a contractor, an ex
- A device or camera someone installed and forgot, which is a bug and camera sweep question if you have a lawful right to search the space
- A neighbor, caregiver, or visitor whose schedule looks like a haunting until it is written down
- A scam that uses fear (a “psychic,” a curse-removal payment, a fake priest)
If the fear is a new partner or a caregiver, route to family background or senior care audit investigations. If objects move because someone is entering the house, that is a person problem: locks, cameras you own, and sometimes surveillance.
What we will not do
We will not hold a seance, certify a spirit, or charge a night rate to sit in the dark waiting for a feeling. We will not use “energy” as a method. If another company offers that, they are not doing the same job, whatever licence they wave.
We also will not invent a trespasser to keep a file open. A first night of cameras you control, or a locksmith and a walk-through in daylight, is often cheaper than hiring anyone.
How an evidence-first intake sounds

Scams that borrow ghost language
Fear sells. A caller who wants gift cards, crypto, or a “cleansing fee” is running a fraud, not a haunting. Year-round patterns sit on online fraud and money scams. If money already moved, say so. Do not add a second payment to a recovery stranger.

Do investigators believe in ghosts?
Belief is personal. The work product cannot be a ghost. If it cannot be photographed, timed, or documented as a person or a device, it is not our deliverable.
Can you prove a house is not haunted?
No, and we will not take a fee to “prove a negative” in that sense. We can look for a human or mechanical cause you can act on.
What if I already hired a paranormal team?
Keep their notes if you want. We start from keys, people, and records. Their footage is only useful if it shows a person.
